Can I receive CDS where I live?

Helpful Hands In Home Care currently services St. Louis, Columbia, Springfield, and Kansas City and surrounding areas.

What types of services can I receive through the CDS program?

  • Bathing

  • Dressing

  • Grooming

  • Toileting

  • Ostomy/colostomy hygiene

  • Obtaining medication

  • Transferring

  • Range of Motion

  • Meal preparation/feeding/cleanup

  • Housekeeping/laundry

  • Errand transportation

  • Limited Medical transportation

What are the qualifications to receive CDS?

Be eligible for MO HealthNet

Be 18 years of age or older

Be able to self direct his or her own care

Have a physical need

Be capable of living independently with the service of a personal care attendant.

If you meet the qualifications, please call us at (314) 282-5731.  An intake specialist will complete a preliminary screening to determine if you qualify to move forward.

Who can work for the client as an Attendant?

​

Personal Care attendants must pass a background check through the Family Care Safety Registry and the Employee Disqualification List.

Attendants must also complete an E-Verify homeland security check through the Department of Homeland Security.
