Do’s & Don’ts
NO CLOCKING IN/OUT WHEN CONSUMER IS IN THE HOSPITAL
No services can be performed, nor can the Attendant/Worker clock in or out, or submit Time Sheets for any day(s) in which the Consumer is in the hospital, a nursing facility, or other governmental facility, not at home or on vacation.
Services are only to be performed and clock in or out by the Attendant/Worker, or submission of Time Sheets for the Consumer by the Attendant for Task(s) that are performed at the home/residence of the Consumer while the Consumer is present at home, unless a special written waiver is obtained/received from the State due to the Consumers special needs/medical condition(s). If the Consumer is not at home, or at their place of residence, there can be no clock in or out for caregiving services.
Only the Attendant/Worker, and no other person including the Consumer, may clock in or out for the caregiving services/Task(s) to be or performed for the Consumer by the Attendant/Worker. The Attendant/Worker is to use the CareWhen App to clock in and out.
The Attendant shall not smoke anything, including marijuana, consume alcohol or illegal drugs, be under the influence of or smell of alcohol, smoking, marijuana while on the premises, in or around the residence of the Consumer.
The Attendant/Worker, or anyone associated with the Attendant/Worker, shall do nothing to disturb the peace on or the near the residence/[premises of the Consumer.
