What are the qualifications to receive CDS?
- Be eligible for MO HealthNet
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be able to self direct his or her own care
- Have a physical need
- Be capable of living independently with the service of a personal care attendant.

Who can work for the client as an Attendant?
Personal Care attendants must pass a background check through the Family Care Safety Registry and the Employee Disqualification List.
Attendants must also complete an E-Verify homeland security check through the Department of Homeland Security.
